In The Popular 2012 Kids Game entitled: " The Pilgrim's Progress " - created by: Scott Cawthon [ that means: " The Wandering Warrior And Traveler Is My Very Own Calf Within Your Physical Enclosure " ] and produced by: Hope Animation [ which refers to: " A Producer Of Sequential Images That Are Designed To: Lift Someone Up, Edify Still Others, And Spiritually Inspire " ] - we have been provided Yet Another Important & Spiritual Allegory.

You see, dear brothers and sisters: ' While I Usually Don't Cover Anything That Falls Under The Category Of Obviously Or Intentionally Religious ' - since, the true purpose of my own writings is to actually point out that The Only Thing Secular Around You Is Now Your Own Personal And Naturally Limited Perception.

There are, indeed, some things that are actually worthy of notice that comes from within That Sun Worshiping Play-Church itself. And, this one dear friends, is ( quite honestly ) Somewhat Faithful To The Book!

Hope - " Something, That All Of Us Need ".

But, of course, you probably still don't believe me. So, why not just watch The Following Game Trailer for: " The Pilgrim's Progress " - because, whether you now comprehend it or not, You Might Just Be Glad That You Did....

And, So Far, That Pilgrim's Progress: Has Been Nothing If Not Short Of Remarkable....

Bunyan stated that: He Saw It All In A Dream....

You see, dear brothers and sisters, ' That Main Character Known Simply As Christian Is On A Spiritual Voyage From His Own Hometown [ known as: " The City Of Destruction " ] To A Much Better Place [ simply referred to as: " The Celestial City " ] Located Atop Mount Zion '... and, indeed, He Has Had To Overcome A Great Number Of Difficulties Along His Own Way!

The Most Dangerous Of Which are actually His Own Fellow Humans; since, they most often don't often appear to be as much of a burden as they ( quite honestly ) are.

In fact, let's just take the time to examine some of them for a moment....

After all, there is:

• Obstinate - who tries to hinder Christian, since he himself believes the journey to be nonsense.
• Pliable -  who travels along side of Christian, but soon abandons him once the going gets tough.
• Worldly Wise Man - who will both say and do anything to further muddy the crystal clear waters.
• Legalist - whose own focus is so narrow as to truly perceive absolutely nothing at all.
• Formalist - whose own understanding lacks any sort of depth at all.
• Hypocrisy - who seemingly says all of the right things; but doesn't actually do any of them.
• Timorous - that is fearful and weak; and thus spreads his own anxiety unto Christian.
• Wanton - whose own companionship always comes at a very steep price.
• Lord Hate Good - who seeks by any means to destroy Faithful; since his very existence is a testimony against all of those people like him.
• Envy - who who stands as an accuser of Faithful; since he, himself, can never be like him.
• Superstition -  who believes that no one can possess a true knowledge of such spiritual things.
• Pick Thank - who is truly grateful that there are so many passages to selectively choose from.
• Ignorance - that walks his own path by hook or by crook.
• Vain Hope - who thinks that he has discovered a short cut to actually getting there.
• Flatterer - who will always remark upon the overall providence of your own choices, even as you are the wrong actual way.
• Atheist - who mocks both Christian and Hopeful; since he is certain that nothing but life itself actually exists.

{ ***NOTE: And, indeed, A Dishonorable Mention must go out to his own wife and family who themselves are attempting to undermine his faith and hinder him from leaving The City Of Destruction... rather than, actually supporting him and lovingly going along with him. }

" I Get By With A Little Help From My Friends ".

But, then again folks, all is not simply The Dungeon Of Despair; because, whether you know it or not, Christian can still get by: " With A Little Help From His Friends "!

In fact: " Perhaps, You Too Should Try... With A Little Help From Your Friends "?

Who, honestly, include:

• Evangelist - is that truly spiritual man; who points out the only true path to The Celestial City; and provides Christian with his copy of The Book.
• Help - who sees Christian when he falls into The Slough Of Despond; and assists him by actually pulling him out of there.
• Goodwill - who stands so valiantly at The Wicket Gate; and points out The Straight And Narrow Way to all his own fellow travelers.
• The Interpreter - who provides a rest stop for all travelers; and some reasonable encouragement along The Straight And Narrow Way.
• The Shining Ones - that may show up at any time along the pathway; and who indeed render as much assistance as they ( quite truthfully ) can.
• Watchful - the porter of The House Beautiful.
• Discretion - one of The Four God-Given Maidens; who along with her sisters: Prudence, Piety, and Charity - lives in The House Beautiful; and offers a much needed sanctuary for Christian.
• Faithful - Christian's friend from The City Of Destruction who is also on pilgrimage; and meets up with him after he passes through The Valley In The Shadow Of Death.
• Hopeful - is the companion whom God has provided to Christian; to replace Faithful who was martyred in Vanity Fair.
• Knowledge - one of The Four God-Given Shepherds to be found in The Delectable Mountains; who along with: Experience, Watchful, and Sincere - are there to strengthen Christian for that final leg of his journey.

{ ***NOTE: And, amazingly enough, after hearing rumors of Christian's Eventual Success; his own wife and children finally started out upon Their Own Successful Pilgrimage - from, That City Of Destruction! }

Perhaps, you should now: " Face The Music ".

You see, dear brothers and sisters, you can ( indeed ) learn an awful lot from the writings of John Bunyan [ which, not so coincidentally, means: " God Has Provided ( All Of Your Own ): Foundations, Structures, And Institutions " ]!

After all, I'm Just Saying....

As far as Metaphorical Allegories go, ' They Don't Often Come Any Clearer Than This One '.
