A Typical Textbook of our own era. |
Throughout all of human history, we have witnessed
The Rise And Fall Of Great Nations. In fact, the repetitive nature ( and, cycle ) of such interesting historical events has long been considered
One Of The Most Important Sociological Studies over the full length and breadth of that time.
After all, as the saying goes:
" If It Happened To Them, Then It Can Happen To You " - and, indeed, that particular axiom has long been established to be true! Indeed, even in our own modern age, we have witnessed
The Rise And Fall Of Great Nations - which have, seemingly, had every single advantage in both peacetime and war... and yet, quite obviously, in every single case something extremely important was still missing.
In fact, whether you now comprehend it or not,
' The Very Nations Which We Think Of As Strongest Are Quite Often The Weakest Of Them All '... and, indeed, those which might appear to be weak have ( just as often ) consistently surpassed others with sociologically transforming results.

A Typical Book in our day.... |
Of course, being the short term thinkers that we are, humans are prone to studying
All Of Those Readily Quantifiable Metrics such as:
A Nation's Geographical Location,
Its Access To Necessary Physical Resources,
The Technological Level Of Its Society,
The Amount Of Capital That It Honestly Possesses, and
The Organizational Structures That It Effectively Controls... which are, indeed, important considerations standing within its own transitional path moving forward. But, none of those factors are the primary concerns when judging the viability and vigor of a nation.
The True Keys To Societal Success are even more basic and fundamental than most people may ( quite honestly ) ever suspect... and, because of that absolute fact, it usually comes as a terrible shock to those people living there when their own nation quite rapidly implodes from within!
After all,
' It Has Always Been Simple And Straight Forward To Deal With An External Enemy ' - no matter how large and well-equipped he might be - while,
Those Not So Obvious Enemies Within Are Gravitating To All Of Those Positions Of Power that lend them their own respectable authority over that nation's magnificent political machinery.
And thus, we can actually read in
Ephesians Chapter 6 [ verse 12 ]:
" For we do not wrestle against Flesh And Blood [ Other Individuals Such As Ourselves ], but against Principalities [ Other Secretive And Covertly Operating Nations ], against Powers [ Organizations With Hidden Agendas Designed And Operated By Others ], against The Rulers Of The Darkness Of This Age [ Those Who Have Devised These Methods Of Secretive Societal Warfare ], and against Spiritual Hosts Of Wickedness In Those Heavenly Places [ Those Enemies Now In The Very Heights Of Our Own Societal Pyramid ]. " - Ephesians 6:12.
